The Apostle Paul when writing about love said that of the three; Love, Hope and Faith, Love was the greatest. No one disputes
that. But... Love, when used to describe God, is just one of the many adjectives that describe God's
many attributes. God is Holy. God is Just. God is Merciful. God is Righteous. God is Love. All of these are adjectives
used to describe God's divine Nature and Character. Not one of these adjectives is greater than the other. They all exist
equally in God. God is not more loving than He is mercifull, I certainly hope not and the Bible does not teach that God's
attribute of Love is greater than any of His other attributes. So please keep the Love of God in it's proper perspective
and remember that God is also THE Righteous Judge we will all stand before on that Great Day. I say this to the
shame of those pastors and teachers who like to preach the Love of God and neglect to preach about our Righteous Judge and
the hell that awaits those of us who do not repent and turn from evil and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God's forgiveness
(Grace)clothed in skin. Jesus spoke about hell more than He did of heaven and today in the pulpit I hear all
about the Love of God and absolutely nothing about hell. And you wonder why people are living compromising lives and even
Christians are living like pagans? Also, we are saved by GRACE through faith in Christ, not by the Love of God.
Many believe that since God loves them He will not send them to hell. Again, GRACE has been neglected. Every time the Love
of God is preached minus the Grace of God the message is incomplete. Without Grace, Love cannot be understood. If
Love could save us from an eternal hell, then Jesus/Grace would not be needed in order to save us from that hell. Love would
have been sufficient. Obviously Love is not enough. Grace is what it takes to save us from death, hell and judgment.
BEHOLD THE GOODNESS AND THE SEVERITY OF THE LORD!
